The present capacity is 8,843 of which there are 2,761 seats, and it is all covered, although the capacity has been reduced since the club were in the Football League.

The home fans occupy the Merton Meadow terracing behind the goal, the terracing under the Len Weston stand until the halfway line and two thirds of the Black Friars Street Terrace for standing, as well as the seats in the Main Merton Stand and half the seats in the Len Weston Stand, again up to the half way line.

The Away fans can sit in half of the Len Weston Stand and are generally made to stand under the Len Weston Stand, however this doesn’t give a great view. If there are a lot of away fans, they will be housed in the other third of the Black Friars Street Terrace.

For disabled supporters, Edgar Street has 10 Wheelchair spaces available, with one helper admitted per disabled person, additionally there are also disabled toilets, and bookings are not necessary.

Going to Hereford is usually a happy and relaxed occasion, however caution should be exercised at all times. Facilities within the ground are only basic, but there are a good range of refreshments available, including the delicious 'Football's Famous Chicken Balti Pie'  priced at £2.

Travelling details:

M5 until junction 8, and exit onto the M50. At junction 2, take the A40 and then the A49 to Hereford. At the roundabout, take the Grayfriars Bridge/Victoria Street road. At Steels Garage, keep left into Edgar Street. Take Blackfriars Street (right) immediately before the football stadium. Turn left for parking. Away supporters site in the Blackfriars End.

There is a large pay and display car park at the ground, which cost 80p for four hours.

Watering holes to consider:

There is a club bar at the ground, called Legends, which is open before and after the game, which has views across the ground.  The Oxford Arms on the edge of the main car park is a friendly establishment, boasting a beer garden and sky sports.

There are many pubs and food outlets in close proximity due to the stadium’s location within the city centre including a Weatherspoon’s pub.  Five minutes walk from the ground is the Newmarket Tavern, which has a large screen and is reasonably comfortable, however not all away fans have enjoyed experiences here, so use your discretion.

To find it; with the Club Shop behind you, turn right and walk up to the end of the stand and out of the car park. Turn left at the end of the ground, and at the end of this road turn right, towards the town centre. As you get to the ring road, the pub is on your right.
