Bradford City v Wrexham
Coca Cola League One
Sunday 26th December 2004
Kick Off – 15:00

Wrexham will be in the TL Dallas Stand, with over 1,800 seats available behind one of the goals, if needed, an overflow area is available in the Midland Road stand.

The better view in the TL Dallas stand is in the upper tier so try and get tickets for there if you can. Note your view may be slightly obscured by pillars in this stand.

Bradford are known for being a friendlier bunch than some home fans in the country, and the stewards are well mannered so to speak as well.

If you like your pies and aren’t stuffed after Christmas turkey, beer and chocolates galore, try the Famous Chicken Balti pie, available at the ground for £2!

Tickets are on sale now from the box office:

Prices:

Adults £18 Seniors £12 Juniors £10

Travelling details:

From Wrexham it is only 90 minutes on the M62 to West Yorkshire. Leave the M62 at Junction 26 and take the M606 for Bradford.

At the end of the motorway, keep to the right hand lane and Valley Parade (Bradford & Bingley) is well sign posted. Mostly street parking around the ground.

Watering holes to consider:

There are not that many pubs around the ground. However, there are a couple of hotels with bars, all about a ten minute walk away. They are the Park & Cartwright hotels. Just continue to walk on the main road by the ground away from the town centre and at the traffic lights where the entrance to the park is, turn right and you will see them in a row on your right.

Also about a ten minute walk away is the 'Corn Dolly' a good real ale pub on Bolton Road, but this has more of a home fan feel about it.

Otherwise it is probably wise to drink in the centre or if you are feeling adventurous jump in a taxi and visit the Fighting Cock in Preston St or the New Beehive at the top of Westgate. Both of these pubs serve excellent real ale and are quite a mecca for CAMRA members.

Haigys Bar on Lumb Lane is worth a visit if have the time; a new pub/curry house has just opened called The Valley on Manningham Lane, only a short distance past the ground.
