While many Wrexham fans do not agree entirely with the situation that took Wimbledon north to Milton Keynes and saw them renamed MK Dons, they welcome the banner being displayed at the game and the signed shirt given to the club by MK Dons Chairman.
A collection would have taken place at the ground, however, it was only made known to Wrexham a few hours before kick off. It is possible that a collection will take place at a later date at the National Hockey stadium.
MK Dons Supporters Association are taking their banner to as many away games as possible to make as many people as possible aware of the problems at the North Wales club.
